There is a critical need to provide peace education as content knowledge in an effort to equip our students with a repertoire of positive strategies that will enable them to make better choices when conflicts seem unavoidable and to respond positively to their current, often negative, circumstances. There is a great need to enhance the current K-12 curriculum.
